Wassim Baccari has nearly 20 years of experience in the field of international cooperation and consulting for public and private institutions.

Former Director of the International Development Business Unit within a Big Four firm, he was responsible for the development and implementation of international cooperation projects financed by donors and the management of technical assistance projects for the benefit of administrations and public institutions in Africa and the Middle East. 

He has contributed to several transformation and change management projects and led training for executives and managers. He began his career, at the Tunisian Ministry of Commerce, as responsible for trade negotiations within the framework of the World Trade Organization before being the coordinator of an export development project. Subsequently, he joined the Ministry of Finance in France as technical cooperation officer for foreign trade and financial services.

He was also director of economic and financial governance projects within Expertise France where he prepared and managed several projects, financed by bilateral and multilateral donors mainly in the countries around the Mediterranean and in sub-Saharan Africa.
